Eleventh and Twelfth Months

Chances are "mama or ami" and "baba or abu" were among her first words – isn’t that wonderful!

Growth Milestones:

-          Your baby will start standing alone for a few moments (before getting freaked out).

-          May even take her first step with the second to follow.

-          She can identify now like "mama" stands for you and pointing means "get me that”

Responses:

By her first birthday, your baby has a couple of words down which you want her to repeat all the time. She responds to simple directives like "Wave bye-bye."

Bonding:

Greater motor abilities and control mean your little one is ready to bang a drum or tinkle on a xylophone. Have a fun time with the sights, sounds and some move and grove.
