Seventh and Eighth Months

She shows enthusiasm and excitement when you begin playing with her

Growth Development:

-          Your baby gets up on her hands and knees.

-          Rocks back and forth, and may even crawl.

-          Starts developing a crude understanding of cause and effect like if you let go of something, it will fall.

Responses:

She will now respond to her name and probably look up when you say "No". Its time to start setting limits. Your baby also whines when you take away a toy or (more likely) a forbidden object that mama has like cell phones, remotes, pots and pans.

Bonding:

You probably played peekaboo for several months now, but its time for her to initiate the whole process. She will soon cover herself then uncover herself and act hysterically surprised. From now you will notice she even shows preference to her favorite toy!
